The absorbent lining is thinner than some period pants, so it's not recommended to wear them alone on your heaviest days.

However, the gusset is antibacterial, breathable, and quick-drying. The outer fabric is treated with a water-repellent coating, as demonstrated in our video below. This helps prevent water from the pool or sea from penetrating the swimsuit.

We have tested the material of our swimsuits in both sea and chlorine swimming conditions. However, we cannot be held responsible if the costume material becomes damaged due to any other activities, such as friction and/or abrasions from climbing out of the water, or marks and bobbling caused by velcro attachments from paddle boards or surfboards.

To maintain the quality of your The Eco Women period swimming costume, washing it is a breeze. Simply wash it in cold water without using fabric softener or bleach. Using water that is hotter than 30 degrees Celsius may affect the waterproof properties of the material. Please follow the washing instructions carefully as not adhering to them may void any returns.

Yes, you can wash your period swimwear with whatever else you have to wash. There is no need to wash them separately.

It is recommended to wash period swimwear at body temperature or below, which is around 30℃.

No, it is advised to avoid using fabric softener as it can coat the fibers of the swimwear and reduce its absorbency.

Bloodstains should be washed out at body temperature or below, as washing at higher temperatures can "set" the stain and make it impossible to remove. It is also suggested to use a decent length wash cycle, around an hour, to properly clean the swimwear.

It is not recommended to tumble dry period swimwear as it can damage the fabric and reduce its lifespan. It's also suggested to avoid putting them on direct heat sources like radiators.

It is suggested to use a bio powder and Oxy type stain remover to properly clean period swimwear. "Eco" products may not be as effective and could reduce the longevity of the swimwear.
